Oppose the Al-Quds bigot march in London, 28 September
September 14th, 2008On 28 September 2008, the UK hosts the annual Al-Quds Day. Shamefully, this event is supported by the morons who control ‘Stop the War.’ We call upon all those with principles (i.e., those who despise the fascist clerical regime in control in Iran) to support the counter-demonstration against the bigots marching in celebration of the Iranian ‘revolution’ of 1980, when thousands of democrats were murdered by the Ayatollah’s henchmen. It is essential that the mainstream left starts to break with the Stalinist-Trotskyite mantra of ‘my enemies enemy is my friend’ and oppose repression in all it’s forms and whenever it appears - whether that repression comes visiting via George Bush’s cluster bombs, or as a noose in the hands of the religious thugs who strangled to death two innocent teenage boys for the criminal act of (alleged and unproven) lovemaking in Mashad, Iran, in 2005. Next Sunday we intend to celebrate the names of those two innocent boys - Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhooni, and the thousands of others like them. Join us.
This counter-demonstration on 28 September is organised by Iranian exiles in London. Details to follow.
